EMERFLEX panels

Incentives and schemes

Roof insulation with EMERFLEX can be partly funded by CEE (French energy savings certificates). Social housing providers in the French overseas territories also have access to a tax credit.

CEE grants for roofs

In the French overseas territories, roof and attic insulation qualifies for CEE (French energy savings certificates), for example through EDF’s Agir Plus programme. Two schemes apply depending on the type of building:

Residential, overseasNon-residential, overseas
SchemeBAR-EN-106BAT-EN-106
BuildingsResidential buildingsExisting or new non-residential buildings up to 10,000 m²
Required thermal resistanceR ≥ 1.5 m².K/WR ≥ 1.2 m².K/W
InstallerRGE quality label requiredProfessional, no RGE requirement

Which thickness

EMERFLEX 62 mm (R = 1.50 m².K/W) meets both schemes. The 45 mm (R = 1.10) is reserved for partitions and suspended ceilings.

Which works

Roofs and attics only. Partitions, wall linings and suspended ceilings do not qualify for these grants.

Which supporting document

Neither ACERMI nor a technical assessment: a manufacturer’s document specifying the thermal characteristics of the installed product is sufficient. We provide it.

The grant amount depends on the sector and on the offer of the body paying it. Ask EDF Agir Plus or your installer. Official schemes: BAR-EN-106 and BAT-EN-106.

Non-residential: the energy savings volume used

For an existing non-residential building, the BAT-EN-106 scheme sets the energy savings per square metre insulated, by sector. They are about 30% lower for a new building.

In practice: a carpenter or roofer without RGE qualification can deliver a grant-funded roof on a hotel, a school, a shop or a local authority building.

Social housing providers: the renovation tax credit

Social housing providers in the French overseas territories that renovate social rental housing more than twenty years old can benefit from a tax credit (article 244 quater X of the French General Tax Code). Eligibility is based on performance criteria, including the solar factor of the roof and walls: insulation contributes directly to it.

EMERFLEX is a component of the solution, not the solution on its own: the engineering consultancy calculates the eligibility of the project. We provide it with the product characteristics and the installation configuration. The solar factor explained →
